TIFTON — Mike and Marion Johnston of Tifton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 29, 2009 at New River Baptist Church. They were married Nov. 29, 1959 at New River Baptist Church in Tifton.
The couple have four children, Melanie, Myles, Maria and Michael; and grandchildren, Autumn, Canaan, Mycah, “Rebel,” “Tori,” Beth-Anne, Allie, Larkin, Eric, Christian, Lucy and Samuel.
The couple’s children and grandchildren attended church with them Nov. 29, 2009 and sang in the worship choir to honor them. Afterwards, the couple celebrated over lunch with their family.
