The Tift County High School Blue Devil Brigade band received a Superior rating and won the Sweepstakes award for its classification during the Hawkinsville Invitational Competition on Saturday, Sept. 26 in Hawkinsville, Ga.

The Brigade, under the direction of Rickey Savage, played its theme for this year, "Heroic Chronicles: From the Dark Knight to the Power of the Sun."
