The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released a Be On The Lookout for the suspect in the Oct. 27 murder of a man in Ty Ty they say might have been spotted recently in Ty Ty. Authorities are urging anyone who might see or know the whereabouts of the man to use extreme caution and consider the suspect armed and dangerous and contact authorities as soon as possible with information.
According to a press release issued through the Tift County Sheriff’s Office, Adrian Golson allegedly shot and killed Arlester Jackson Jr., 35, in Ty Ty in October. It is believed that Golson, 32, might have fled to Macon or Atlanta shortly after the murder, but has recently been spotted in the Ty Ty area. The majority of Golson’s family lives in Ty Ty and it has been relayed that Golson has said that he is not going back to jail without a fight.
Golson is a black male, 5’9” tall, who weighs approximately 180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

According to an article that ran in The Tifton Gazette following the shooting, Jackson was found shot in a vacant lot behind his residence in the 4600 block of U.S. Highway 82 West in Ty Ty and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Agents didn’t go into details concerning the shooting, but stated that there was apparently an argument between the two men. Neighbors called E-911 to report the incident.
