Nancy Bryan, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Georgia, Inc. has announced the hiring of new program staff for the agency.
Melinee M. Calhoun is the new full- time Enrollment and Matching Manager. Ms. Calhoun is an honor graduate of Valdosta Technical College (customer service), and of Valdosta State University (criminal justice). She continued her honor status as she achieved her master of business administration from Liberty University, and she is currently pursuing a PhD in human services from Walden University in Baltimore, Md. Ms. Calhoun is managing all inquiries, application and matching processes for both the "Big Brothers Big Sisters" and the "Buddies in School" One-to-One mentoring programs participants for the agency service area including Albany, Cordele, Tifton and Valdosta.
Bridgett M. Adams is the new part time Match Support Manager. Ms. Adams is a graduate of Valdosta State University with a bachelor of fine arts in speech communication with an emphasis in public relations. Ms. Adams is responsible for all the match supervision, support and evaluation for the agency’s One-to-One matches.
