BRADENTON, Fla. —
Beall’s and Burke’s Outlet is announcing its fall 2010 grand opening schedule with 27 outlets conducting grand openings in October and November 2010. Beall’s and Burke’s Outlet will operate in 16 states with 462 stores and is opening new stores in Kentucky and Virginia this fall.
The company will grow in total square footage nearly 10 percent this year, adding over three quarters of a million square feet of store space after the fall openings. New stores average 28,000 square feet, which is larger than the average store today.
Beall’s and Burke’s Outlets are a division of a family and employee owned corporation, Beall’s Inc. based in Bradenton, Fla. Beall’s Outlet stores operate in Florida, Georgia and Arizona and are conducting six grand openings in Marianna and Palatka, Fla., Buckeye, Ariz., and Winder, Cordele and Hinesville.
Burke’s Outlet stores operate in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, New Mexico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia and will be conducting 21 grand openings in Florence and Boaz, Ala., Ruston, La., Conway, S.C., Norton, Wytheville and Bristol, Va., Forest City, Henderson, Southern Pines, Smithfield, Statesville and Sanford, N.C., Gallatin and Greeneville, Tenn., and Russellville, Campbellsville, Glasgow, Somerset, Corbin and London, Ky.
The company's principal operating strategy is to grow the corporation through the use of its profits.
