TIFTON — Two Tifton JC Penney stylists were recently recognized with a trip and cash in a nationwide Matrix contest.
To be eligible for the contest, JC Penney stylists nationwide were required to sell “Sexy Hair” and “Matrix” products during the month of October and maintain or exceed the minimum service productivity standard.
Missy Moorman won an all-expense-paid trip to California to attend a two-day training class at the prestigious Michael O'Rourke's “Institute of Courage” academy. Only 30 contestants were chosen nationwide. The academy is located in Topanga, Calif. The trip includes air travel to Los Angeles, where she will be met by a driver to take her to the Marriott hotel. She will spend the next two days at the academy participating in several of the latest hair techniques and styles. A poolside reception and group dinners are also planned for the winning stylist.
Renee’ Sutton won a $100 American Express Cheque offered by Matrix. The contest was offered around the same period of time with the same eligibility requirements.
“Missy and Renee worked very hard for these contest and I am extremely happy for them,”said JC Penney salon supervisor Sue Upchurch.
“These associates continue to provide great customer service and are being justly rewarded,” said Bob Cartwright, store manager.
