DUBLIN — Edward and Cathy Couey of Dublin announce the engagement of their daughter, Carmen Brooke Couey of Dublin, to Bobby Dale Hancock of West Berrien, son of Dale and Lola Hancock of West Berrien.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Couey of Dublin, Rachel McTier of Dublin and the late Duwald McTier. She is a 1999 graduate of Dublin High School. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree and earned her master’s degree in 2006 from Walden University. She is currently employed at G.O. Bailey Primary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of of Mr. and Mrs. Tallie Hancock of West Berrien and Mr. and Mrs. Melton Bennett of Sparks. He is a 2000 graduate of Berrien County High School. He is currently employed with Bren-Dale Farms Inc.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at First Church of Nazarene in Dublin. Invitation will be mailed.
