TIFTON — Peggy Tanner Blacker of Tifton and Danny and Susan Blacker of Yatesville announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly Danielle Blacker, to Kurt Cromer Pitts of Tifton, son of Wendell and Phyllis Pitts of Tifton.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Alice Tanner of Tifton and the late Cecil Tanner. She is employed with Tifton Banking Company as a loan assistant.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Vaughn and Rudine Cromer and Paul and Winnie Pitts, all of Tifton. He is a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southwestern University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is currently employed with Bowen, Phillips, Carmichael, Davis and Sims LLP as a CPA.

A private wedding ceremony will be held Nov. 7, 2009 at Melody Key, Fla.
