TIFTON — Bill and Ann McDaniel of Tifton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Toni Leigh, to John B. Allison, son of Bart and Ying-Mei Allison of Atlanta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Toni and Arthur Bilodeau of Springfield, Mass., and the late Lillie Mae and Willie McDaniel, formerly of Tifton. She is a 2000 graduate of Tift County High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management. Currently, Toni is working on her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Medical College of Georgia and will graduate in May 2010.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Ama Wang of Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, the late Agong Wang and the late John Allison and Dorothy Posthumus, formerly of Atlanta. He graduated in 1999 from Osborne High School in Marietta and continued on to earn his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing from Georgia State University in 2004. John is currently attending Georgia Institute of Technology where he will graduate in 2012 with a combined BS/MS degree in civil engineering.
The destination wedding will be held at sunset Dec. 22, 2009 at Mariner’s Resort in Key Largo, where immediate family will share in the couple’s happiness as they exchange their vows of matrimony.
