Seven new trustees join ABAC Foundation Board

TIFTON —  Seven new members have been named to the Board of Trustees of the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation, according to an announcement Monday by Foundation Trustees’ Chair Roger Dill.

Dill said the new trustees include James Lee Adams Jr. from Camilla, Greg Goggans from Douglas, James Holcombe from Savannah, Niki Knox from Peachtree City, John W. Langdale III from Valdosta, James H. Moore III from Albany and Jim Sparks from Hendersonville, N.C.

Working closely with the ABAC administration, the ABAC Foundation Board of Trustees assists in the raising of private funds to support the institution.

“In these economic times, it is more important than ever before for ABAC to establish positive relationships with the private sector,” ABAC President David Bridges said. “The ABAC Foundation supports the college in a lot of different ways, and we appreciate the individual sacrifice that each trustee makes to serve the college.”

Other trustees include William I. Bowen Jr. from Tifton, Courtney Brinson from Albany, William H. Davis from Sylvester, Robert M. Dutton Sr. from Albany, George B. Granade from Griffin, George M. Dallas Hunt III from Tifton, Lynn Lovett from Tifton, Joyce Mims from Tifton, J. Mark Mobley Jr. from Moultrie, Jack L. Perry from Tifton, Dale N. Pflug from Tifton, Vivien E. Scott from Tifton, Jodie R. Snow of Tifton and Patty S. Veazey from Tifton.

Bridges is also a member of the Board of Trustees along with ABAC Vice President for External Affairs Paul Willis. Snow is the chief operating officer for the foundation.
