TIFTON —
The Tift County Development Authority and the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce have announced that Ranchero’s Fresh Grill, headquartered in Douglas, is now open at 133 Virginia Ave. S. in Tifton. This is the company’s third location since September 2007. The other locations are in Douglas and Waycross. This project represents 15 new jobs and significant local investment.
Ranchero’s offers customers fresh southwestern cuisine at a reasonable cost in an inviting environment. The extensive menu includes healthy choices and a kids menu. Ranchero’s also provides catering services.
According to Luke Christian, Ranchero’s founder, “providing catering services to several healthcare facilities in Tifton made me realize that we needed a restaurant in Tifton. This is a great community and we’re excited to be here.”
“We continue to see quality companies from all sectors choose Tifton for their next location. We are pleased to work with and welcome all of these businesses as they provide choices and opportunities in our community,” said Brian Marlowe, president and CEO of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce and the Tift County Development Authority.
Ranchero’s is located in the Tifton Corners shopping center. RCG Ventures, headquartered in Atlanta, took over the former Walmart shopping center about five years ago and has transformed it into a thriving retail center. RCG is also responsible for developing and managing the new Publix shopping center.
