TIFTON — Thirteen vehicles were reported broken into Monday, and a woman reported discovering that someone had shot into her home several times.
Incidents reported to the Tift County Sheriff’s Office include:
• A woman who lives in the 600 block of Isabella-Nashville Road reported that someone shot into her home, which caused damage to the front and back doors and a wall of the residence. The deputy who was called to the scene collected six pellets from the kitchen area.
• A man who lives in the 1700 block of Eastman Drive reported that someone had broken out the windshield of his green 1996 Chevy S-10. Nothing was reported missing.
• A woman who lives in the 300 block of U.S. Highway 125 S. reported that someone entered her white 1995 GMC Jimmy and stole items valued at $500.
• A man who lives on Deer Avenue reported that someone entered his neighbor’s vehicle without their permission.
• A man who lives on Hunter’s Wood Avenue reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,500.
• A man who lives on Deer Avenue reported that someone entered his vehicle and stole $575 worth of firearms.
• A man who lives in the 500 block of Brighton Road reported that someone broke the back passenger window of his 2006 Toyota Avalon and stole a bag of clothes.
• A woman who lives on Hunter’s Wood Avenue reported that someone entered her 2001 Ford Expedition and stole a GPS system valued at $500 and a pair of Maui sunglasses valued at $300.
Incidents reported to the Tifton Police Dept. include:
• A woman who lives in the 800 block of East 40th Street reported that someone entered her vehicle and stole a red velour pocketbook with a flowered print that contained miscellaneous papers and some of her identification cards.
• A man who lives in the 400 block of East 40th Street reported that someone broke the driver’s side window of his truck and stole a Dell laptop computer and a black carrying case valued at $1,500.
• A man who lives in the 800 block of East 40th Street reported that someone had entered his vehicle and stole body spray, money, the key to his vehicle and an I-Pod with a total estimated value of $360.
