TIFTON —
On Saturday, Jan. 19, men in the local community and surrounding areas are invited to participate in a “new DNA-new spirit-new way of living-new change” and a spirit-filled day at the Little River Missionary Baptist Convention annual Men’s Conference at Springfield Baptist Church on MLK Drive. The conference will begin at 9:30 a.m. with lunch to follow.

Curtis Raines Sr., president of the General Missionary Baptist Convention, will be the special guest speaker. He will deliver in both song and word, a preacher and lover of all people — “Love is What Love Does” in Christ.
Raines, an ordained minister with a Master of Pastoral Ministry from Emmanuel Bible College, is currently serving as pastor of New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Macon and Mount Zion Baptist Church in Bolingbroke. He is very active in the GMBC, having held several positions, as well as active in the Bibb County Community where he has received numerous awards and recognitions for his outstanding contribution to the community. He is married to Barbara Tharpe and has four children.
