CAMILLA — Two men have been arrested and charged with robbing three deacons at gunpoint behind their Camilla church.
The robbery happened in the church parking lot last month and the suspects made off with a couple hundred dollars and other items.
Police say 24-year-old Travis Donaldson and 21-year-old Corry Hallman committed the crime at the First Baptist Church of Camilla.
The suspects were arrested Thursday.
A preacher was robbed in the parking lot of Lighthouse Community Church near Pelham less than two weeks after the First Baptist robbery.
No arrests have been made in that case.
