VALDOSTA — An arrest warrant has been issued for another suspect in the Sunday mass shooting at the Hudson Dockett housing projects.
Authorities are currently looking for 39-year-old Trumain Sidney Small of Valdosta.
The Valdosta Police Department has identified Small as a “key player in the shooting incident,” said Valdosta Police Cmdr. Brian Childress.
He is being charged with aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Childress added.
“The suspect is considered armed and dangerous,” Childress said. “If anyone knows his whereabouts, they should contact law enforcement immediately.”
Small is the second suspect identified in the mass shooting.
Bernard Sanders, 24, was arrested near Lake Park during a traffic stop Wednesday night. He has been charged with felony murder, with additional charges pending.
The shooting occurred around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Eleven people were reportedly shot during the incident, including 19-year-old Sidney Bivens, who died shortly after being transported to the hospital.
