Tifton's annual Christmas parade and other Hometown Holiday events planned Saturday will go on as scheduled despite threatening weather, Fran Kinchen of the Tifton Main Street office said Friday afternoon. In case of rain, events involving stage entertainment will be held at the Tift Theatre.
The National Weather Service is predicting a 90 percent chance of rain tonight, mainly after 1 a.m., and a 60 percent chance on Saturday, mainly before 9 a.m.
