EASTMAN — Authorities say alcohol was involved in the fatal shooting of a 40-year-old man in Dodge County.
Sheriff's office Capt. Tony Winborn tells WMAZ-TV three men began arguing at a home Sunday afternoon when Michael Crenshaw pulled out a gun and started shooting. Winborn says Crenshaw shot and killed Bill Fountain and then ran away.
The third man was injured and was taken to Dodge County Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Winborn says police found Crenshaw less than half a mile away from the home after searching about two hours.
Winborn says Crenshaw is in custody and faces a murder charge.
The Dodge County sheriff's office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating the shooting.
