Curtis E. McCook

HEPHZIBAH — Curtis Earl McCook, 53, of Hephzibah, son of the late Carl and Bessie Taylor McCook, entered into rest Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. today at the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors in Augusta. Pastor Terry Taylor will officiate the ceremony with burial to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until the hour of service today at Chance and Hydrick Funeral Home.

Mr. McCook is survived by his daughters, Angie McCook of Waynesboro, Kayla McCook of Tifton and Karrie Singletary of Macon; brothers, and sister-in-law, Ralph McCook of Augusta and Wendell and Laura McCook of Augusta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Caroline Tawzer of Augusta and Annette and Richard Hogan of Belmont, Miss.; and five grandchildren.

Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors in Augusta is in charge of arrangements.
