Ray Harden Mangham

TIFTON — Ray Harden Mangham, 86, of Tifton died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Grace Manor. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Danny Ray will officiate with burial to follow.

Mrs. Mangham was born on Aug. 16, 1926 in Reidsville and was the daughter of Nathaniel Harden and Inez Brantley Harden, both deceased.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Perry F. Mangham; two brothers, Deward Harden and Kendall Harden; and her twin sister, Fay Harden Smith.  She was a retired registered nurse; worked as a bookkeeper for Scotty Crownover; and also served as City Clerk for the City of Ty Ty.  She was a member of Ty Ty Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mangham is survived by a step-daughter, Carolyn Vaughn of Ringgold; one granddaughter and her husband, Lynn and Jack Priest of Ringgold; special cousins, Del and Pam Taylor, and their children, DeAnn and Nicole; one brother, Marion Harden of Sylvester; one son, Walter Dubois of New York; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Hospice to Tiftarea, P. O. Box 747, Tifton, GA 31793.  The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Grace Manor for their exceptional care of Mrs. Mangham.
