Ronald “Ronnie” Eugene Gibbs

ENIGMA — Ronald “Ronnie” Eugene Gibbs, 64, of Enigma died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Dan Robinson will officiate with burial to follow at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Terry Lupo, Larry Potts, Charles Goodman, Clay Goodman, Joe Gilbert and Steve Bocelho will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Gibbs was born on Feb. 27, 1948 in Tift County and was the son of Eugene Gibbs and Edna Lee Dover Gibbs, both of Enigma. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Edna Jean Gibbs. He was a retired surveyor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gibbs is survived by a daughter, Monica Blair Gibbs of Florida.
