LENOX —
Tannis "Bogie" Marie Rugg Strickland, 49, of Lenox died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lenox Christian Fellowship. The Rev. Jimmie Hinson and the Rev. Greg Hester will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Strickland was born Feb. 23, 1962 in Tift County and was the daughter of Betty Rugg of Lenox and the late Cecil Rugg. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Strickland is survived by her husband, Tim Strickland of Tifton; one son, Carlton Daniel Lee; one daughter, Summer Marie Lee; five brothers, Marcus Rugg, Kerry Rugg, Monty Rugg, Bryan Rugg and Shane Rugg; two sisters, Ella Kilpatrick and Wendy Vasquez; one granddaughter, Veronica Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
