Ruby Louise Bryan Tucker, 87, of Moultrie, died of natural causes Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church in Tifton, where she was a longtime member. The Rev. Tony Walker and the Rev. Silas Carver will officiate with burial to follow at Omega Cemetery. Mrs. Tucker will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Russell Bryan, David Sumner, Wayne Tucker, Michael Tucker, Jackie Crumley and Jerry Crumley will serve as pallbearers.
Born Jan. 16, 1926, in Tift County, she was the daughter of William W. Bryan and Mary Elizabeth Jones Bryan, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Arthur Tucker; one son, Jimmy Tucker; five brothers, Jesse, Fred, Irwin, Henry and Roy Bryan; one sister, Nina Shivers; two granddaughters; and one grandson.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by one son, Willis Tucker of Moultrie; one daughter, Louise Walker of Tallahassee, Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
