Debra Lanette Harper Williams, 57, of Ty Ty, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Sumner, with the Rev. Donnie Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.
Rex Harper, Scott Harper, Daniel Miller, Shane Williams, and Michael Williams will serve as pallbearers with Kenny Hinton and Tom Williams serving as honorary pallbearers.
Born July 16, 1955, in Irwin County to the late William “Dub” Harper and Inez Taylor Harper, Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Harper and Tommy Harper, and one sister, Joyce Hinton.
Mrs. Williams, a homemaker, enjoyed cooking and growing flowers as well as playing Bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband to whom she was married for thirty years, Rick Williams of Ty Ty; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Lee and Tommy Wise of Tifton and Amy and Michael Miller of Tifton; one brother and one sister-in-law, Jack and Janet Harper of Douglas; one sister and one brother-in-law, Dale and Stan Hutchings of Monroe; three grandchildren, Tyler Wise, Reid Miller, and Heidi Miller; her mother-in-law, Dottie Williams of Ty Ty; and her caregiver, Kandy Branch of Tifton.
