Janie "Elizabeth" Ross Law

TIFTON — Janie "Elizabeth" Ross Law, 93, of Tifton, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church. Pastor Ralph Flowers will officiate with interment to follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Law was born on July 28, 1919 in Tifton to the late James Oren Ross and Pearl Cromer Ross. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Everett Law.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she faithfully served her church and community.

Surviving family members include six children and their spouses, Diane and Devane Simpson of Clermont, Sharon and Wayne Carlisle of Pine Mountain, Donna and Stanley Rawlins of Jacksonville, Fla., Charles and Nancy Law of Cartersville, Teresa Linville of Tifton and Greg and Jeanne Law of Cumming; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Ross Vaughn of Tifton; one brother, Wilton Ross of Tifton; sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Irvin Branch, Jr., 53 Academy Drive, Chula, GA 31733.

Arrangements for the Law family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
