Chip Dominy Jr.

MILLEDGEVILLE — B. Allen “Chip” Dominy Jr. of Milledgeville died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at the chapel of Moore’s Funeral Home with burial at 4 p.m. at Oakridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Chip was formerly of Tifton, but had made his home in Milledgeville since 1990. He had worked at Frito-Lay for 11 years in a part-time capacity and was very proud of his job.

Chip was a special, gentle person, whose passions in life were his family, playing golf and sports in general. His loves included feeding birds, geese and others in his own backyard.

Chip is survived by his father, B. Allen Dominy Sr. of Milledgeville; a brother, Jay Mallette of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Andrea Mallette of Milledgeville; and his grandmother, Nell B. Hawkins of Dublin.
