Larry E. Lisenby

WEST BERRIEN — Larry Edgar Lisenby, 65, of West Berrien died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Vickers Church with the Rev. Ronnie Lawson and the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Oakey Grove Cemetery. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville.

Mr. Lisenby was born June 23, 1944 in Berrien County to Mary Ida Walker and the late George Martin Lisenby. He was a self-employed tractor mechanic and a member of West Berrien Fire Department. He was a member and deacon at Vickers Church.

Mr. Lisenby is survived by his wife, Gloria Fender Lisenby of West Berrien; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dianna Hintermeister of Waldorf, Md., and Dawn and Scott Hardy of West Berrien; son, Duane Lisenby of West Berrien; mother, Mary Ida Walker of Tifton; sisters, Joyce Hall of Macon, Jacquline Giddens of West Berrien and Linda Bracewell of Tifton; brother, Raymond Lisenby of Lenox; and grandchildren, Dustin and Danielle Hintermeister and Drew and Cody Hardy.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to the West Berrien Fire Department. Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
