Myrtle Rowe
NASHVILLE — Myrtle Rowe, 69, of Nashville died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Joiner, the Rev. H.P. Murray and the Rev. David Rowe. Burial will follow at Willacoochee City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home in Nashville. All ministers of the Holiness Baptist Church are asked to serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mrs. Rowe was born June 15, 1940 in Atkinson County to Willie Mae McNatt and the late Jeff Joiner. She was a homemaker and a member of Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rowe is survived by her husband, the Rev. Edgar Rowe of Nashville; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Huey Hancock of Nashville, Terry and Dan Spell of Ocilla and Marsha Fletcher of Nashville; son, Jimmy Rowe of Weatherford, Texas; mother, Willie Mae Joiner of Willacoochee; sisters, Daisy Chaney of Ocilla, Linda Knowles of Willacoochee and Katherine Mizell of Atkinson; brothers, Leroy Joiner, Bobby Joiner and Glynn Joiner, all of Willacoochee; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
