Eunice Edge

OMEGA — Eunice Ione Robinson Edge, 79, of Omega died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Elder Jeff L. Harris and Elder Matthew Strevel will officiate with burial to follow in Omega Cemetery. Jody W. Edge, Shawn D. Gunn, Stacey D. Gunn, Duane Hardy, Ken Hardy and Joseph Hardy will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Edge was born on Aug. 26, 1930 in Colquitt County and was the daughter of Cliff R. "Pop" Robinson and Dorothy Ione Taylor Robinson, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. She retired from J. P. Stevens/Forstman and was a member of Fairhaven Primitive Baptist Church in Tifton. She was a life-long resident of Omega.

Mrs. Edge is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Randall "Randy" and Elizabeth Ann Edge of Omega; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Elaine Edge Gunn and Eddie Gene Cox; three brothers, Bobby Robinson of Tifton, C. L. Robinson of Omega and Ted Robinson of Omega; and three sisters, Helen Marchant of Omega, Gloria Jean Hardy of Omega and Diane Bostick of Moultrie; and grandchildren and their families, Shawn David Gunn and his wife, Jill and their children, Kayden and Emily; Stacey Durand Gunn and child, River; Jody Weslyn Edge and his wife, Summer and their children, Desirae and Destiny; and Jennifer Ann Edge and her fiancé, Chad Perdue.
