TIFTON — Clyde T. Wilson, 94, of Tifton died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009 at Heritage Health Care in Ashburn. Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Macon Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Hughes officiating. Entombment follow at Macon Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Mr. Wilson was born July 17, 1915 in Louisa, Ky., and was the son of Charlie Wilson and Minnie Kelly Wilson, both deceased. He worked for Martin Marietta Corp. and later retired from Allied Products Company. He was also a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Louise Frances Smeltzer Wilson of Tifton; one son, Ernest G. McReynolds of Beaverton, Ore.; one daughter, Linda Humphries of Marietta; one niece, Phyllis Hall of Columbus; and four nephews, Paul Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, Dean Wilson and Bobby Wilson, all of the Columbus, Ohio area.
