Mildred Rebecca ‘Mim’ Taylor

NASHVILLE — Mildred Rebecca “Mim” Taylor, 93, of Nashville, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Nashville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Russ Elkins and the Rev. Owen Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Mrs. Taylor was born on Nov. 10, 1916 in Holmes County, Fla. to Jackson Lee Long and Cora Lizzie Woodham, both deceased. She was the widow of Larry Taylor, who died in 1998. She was also preceded in death by a son, Phil Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of Nashville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Beth Taylor of Monticello; a son, Dan (Sandra) Taylor of Nashville; a sister, Mary Whidden of Nashville; two grandchildren, Becky Taylor and Tanya (Jonathan) Coe; and three great-grandchildren, Phillip Coe, Taylor Coe and Nathan Coe.

Memorials are requested to the Nashville United Methodist Church.

Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
