Dixie Holmes, 83, of Adel died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn City Cemetery. The family will be receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Purvis Funeral Home. Survivors include her son, Joel Holmes of Adel; and her daughter, Lisa Deariso of Sylvester. Betty Jo Mintz Wilson, 76, of Tifton died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at her residence.
