NASHVILLE —
Rebecca Harper, 90, of Nashville died Friday, Sept. 3, 2010 at Berrien Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. John Evans Patten officiating. Burial will follow at Willacoochee City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Harper was born April 11, 1920 in Berrien County to the late Charlie W. Rowe and Pearl Childs. She was a homemaker and member of Rowetown Missionary Baptist Church. She was the widow of Mack Harper, who died in 1992. She was also preceded in death by her son, Leroy Harper; daughters, Ruby Nell and Maxine Harper; two sisters; and three brothers.
Mrs. Harper is survived by two daughters and son-in-law, Betty Barker Collins of Nashville and Bonnie and Neal Watson of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Laurie Harper of Nashville and Marshall and Lynn Harper of Valdosta; daughter-in-law, Marie Harper of Omega; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
