Kathleen Paul Helms

SENECA, S.C. — Kathleen Paul Helms, 75, of Seneca, S.C., died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at Lila Doyle Nursing Home in Seneca, S.C. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. N. C. Spradley officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. today at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors prior to the service.

Monty Salter, Michael Salter, Buddy Salter, III, Corbett Dunn, Tim Steedley and Dennis Dunn will serve as pallbearers.

Born Oct. 29, 1937, in Worth County to the late Johnny Paul and Rosa Douglas Paul, Mrs. Helms was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Helms who died in July 1981, one brother,  Eugene Paul and one sister, Allene Cherry.

Mrs. Helms retired from Sundrop Bottling Company where she worked as a secretary. She loved the beaches and going on cruises. She also loved camping, traveling, flowers and gardening.  Mrs. Helms was a member of Tuckasegee Baptist Church in Gaston County, N.C.

Mrs. Helms is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shara Salter Dunn and Dennis Dunn of Six Mile, S.C.; her sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Edward "Ray" and Kim Salter of Carrollton, Edward LaFerrell "Buddy" Salter Jr. and Debra Salter of Clover, S.C., Michael L. and Charlene  Salter of Ty Ty, Monty L. and Sha Salter of Ft. Mill, S.C.; and Robert Brian Helms of Six Mile, S. C.; her brother, Travis Paul of Porterdale; her sister and brother-in-law, Frances P. and Silas Spradley of Tifton; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
