TIFTON — Kim Evette Smith, 41, of Tifton died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Fuenral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday atBeulah Hill Family Life Center on Tifton,-Eldorado Rd, with committal rites to follow in Oakridge Cemetery and a repast/fellowship will follow at the Neighbrohood Services Center. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. today at Southview Mortuary Chapel. Kim is survived by her husband, Mike Smith; children, Charnele Smith and Alicia Smith; mother, Carolyn Johnson;  brothers and sisters, Dexter Lampkin, Jacquelyn Alexander, Paulette Overton, Richard Johnson, Carol Stranford, Pamela Robinson, Kylinda Smith, Desmond Johnson and Tedric Dorsey. Freddie Lee Shepherd Sr., 63, of Tifton died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. today in the chapel of Taylor Family Funeral Service. Survivors include his wife, Annie S. Shepherd of Tifton; four children, Freddie "Neil" Shepherd Jr., Anthony Williams all of Tifton and Dwight Valentine of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; nine brothers, Milton Shepherd, James Shepherd, David Shepherd, Randolph Shepherd, Danny Shepherd, Gary Shepherd, John Carter and Willie Pitts; four sisters, Betty Golson, Vera Woods, Shirley Golson and Earnestine Tolver.
