Brian Vernon Couvillon, 46, of Tifton died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Dr. Wayne Roe will officiate with burial to follow at Tift Memorial Gardens. Michael Bennett, Keith Futch, Joe Ball, Ramsey Willis, Alex Couvillon and Gary McGuiness will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Haswell and Jimmy Wicker. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Couvillon was born on May 9, 1966 in Dearborn, Mich. and was the son of Barbara Strevett Couvillon of Tifton and the late Gary Peter Couvillon, who died in 2006. He worked at Mastercraft until he became disabled and he was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Couvillon is survived by two sons, Connor Couvillon of Tifton and Alex Couvillon of Valdosta; one daughter, Cayla Rae Couvillon of Tifton; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly and Mike Pearson and Kim and Mike Willis, all of Tifton.
