RAY CITY —
Aline Harpe, 82, of Ray City died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at Berrien Nursing Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Connell and the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Visitation is from 3 to 3:45 p.m. today.
Mrs. Harpe was born Nov. 3, 1930 in Berrien County to the late John S. Fender and the late Della Connell. She was a homemaker and had been employed with Nashville Mills in quality control. She was a member of Ray City First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Hamn.
Mrs. Harpe is survived by three daughters, Linda Browning of Birmingham, Ala., Joyce Burton of Calabasas, Calif. and Marjorie Cooper of Winifrede, W. Va.; three sons, Howell Harpe of Ray City, Johnny Harpe of Ray City and Marion Harpe Jr. of Ray City; two sisters, Kathleen Adrian of Nashville and Barbara Durrance of Nashville; a brother, Wayne Fender of Nashville; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank her daughter-in-law, Stephanie, for her help and support during this time.
