NASHVILLE — Minnie Sara Roland, 98, of Nashville, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Mount Paron Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be at 14814 Alapaha Highway.
Mrs. Roland was born Aug. 16, 1911 in Berrien County to the late Frances Andrew Richardson and Mary Ellen Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Roland, who died in 1976; and her son, W.B. Roland, who died in 1994. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Roland is survived by her son, Donald Roland of Nashville; daughter, Sarah Lee Dean of East Dublin; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
