Your Opinion: A country divided

I am surprised when I read different articles on the opinion page. One such article states that President Obama will go down in history as the worst President this country has ever known.

Where was this individual living during the Bush administration? Obama didn't get us into this mess. He has only been in office for one year. It took the Republicans eight years to get us into this mess.

How soon people forget. Back then everything was controlled by the Republicans.

The Republicans are going to fight Obama all the way through his tenure. How will it look in the history books if Obama became president and actually provided health insurance for all. How will it look if he actually turns the country around and creates jobs that will stay here in the U.S.A.

If President Obama can do this what do you think the chances of the Republicans ever have regaining control of Washington would be? It shouldn't be this way.

Does anyone remember the saying "A house divided cannot stand?" It should also be a country divided cannot stand.

We should not be Republican or Democrat, we should be united as Americans. At one time we were against communists and their way of life. We now seem to be controlled by the communists.
