““If anyone can remember what I said when gas prices started coming down, wait and see what happens after the election. It is after the election and they are going back up again. But lower gas prices didn’t seem to help the Republicans on the national scene.”

“I am calling to let Tifton and Tift County know how proud we are of State Senator Dina Titus, Democrat, Nevada. Dina, the daughter of Joe and Betty Titus of Tifton, did a great job in her run for governor of Nevada and we are proud of our hometown girl.”

“It’s good now that you can sit down and watch your television and don’t have to listen to all those people telling lies on each other. The bad part of it is that we still have people out there telling us what happened and talking about something they don’t know anything about. I can say this. I do hope that the Republicans in the House and Senate will give the Democrats the same cooperation the Democrats have given them over the past few years. That, I hope.”

A big deal

“Do the right thing? Our car was damaged while parked at the mall. Now we will have to pay in excess of $600 to get the repair done. It probably did not seem like a big deal to the person who caused the damage, but it is a big deal to us!”

“Some people change for different reasons whether they are good or bad reasons. I am proud of whoever does change and do something different and better with their lives. Be happy for the people that are trying to do better.”

“This is a rant for the citizens of Brookfield that have problems with the Fire Department. These firemen that are being aggravated and fussed about for being progressive and looking to the future of Brookfield are the SAME dedicated men that would risk life and limb to respond to a fire or wreck that YOU could be in. Show some respect, quit fussing and try to help these guys.”
