Private property
“Times are rough financially right now for most people, so please quit stealing pecans from trees that are NOT on your property, especially from church grounds. Churches use this money to help spread God’s word, and you have to know God would not be at all happy with your behavior.”
No progress
“I originally thought that Tifton had the potential to become one of the more important cities in this part of the state but have been disappointed with the lack of progress. Maybe the city should condemn some of the commercial property along the interstate and try to bring in some innovative companies like Publix to improve the quality of life of the city. Empty stores and seedy motels don't do any of us any good.”
Right on
“Terry Taylor, you are right on. Bless you for having the courage to speak the truth. Today many well-intended people have their heads in the sand. If enough of us stand up, maybe we can take our country back.”
Unnecessary risk
“It is time to curtail the time honored traditions of shaking hands when entering and leaving church and holding hands during the last benediction because of H1N1. Why risk infection?”
Thank you Rave
“This is a rave for Linda and Jerry Horton. Thank you so much for coming to my rescue Sunday night. I love you guys.”
Lost money?
“To the person who lost money at Harvey’s Friday afternoon, if you’ll call me at 382-5285 and tell me about what time you lost it and how much it was, I’d be glad to return it.”
Congratulations
“Congratulations, Pastor Vice, on all your years of doing God’s work at Grace Baptist!”
Slow down
“The city and county need to cut spending immediately. Don't they see that revenues they collect are dropping quickly? (They could start by cutting their salaries).”
