“Thomas Sowell suggests the formation of an expert group to counter lies told by Democratic political candidates. To be fair, how about the formation of such a group for the Republicans as well? They would have been pretty busy keeping up with Romney and Ryan. Or, how about we just employ non-partisan pundits if we can find one?”

“When Bill Clinton left office in 2001, he left this country with a budget surplus that was reducing our deficit each year. Most economist were predicting that the US would be out of debt by 2013. Then comes George W. Bush with his tax cuts and massive borrowing; he vandalizes the future. What was he thinking? This is just a fact and no amount of spin will ever change it.”

“To ‘personal issue’ the government shouldn't intrude into our lives, but it does constantly, and you'll see more of it under Obamacare. As far as using government to force religious views on people, laws designed to prevent you from being murdered have their basis in a ‘religious’ view. Life is sacred and deserves institutional protection, even in the womb.”
