A woman reported to the Tift County Sheriff’s Office Thursday that someone had forcibly entered her home at 31 Bowen Road and went on to steal items valued at $694.

Sylvia Ann Gordon, 47, 109 Quince St., was charged Thursday with a probation violation.
Brian Otis Sumner, 41, 194 Lower Brookfield Road, was charged Thursday with abandonment of dependent child support.
