— Crime briefs:

• A man reported Saturday that a male subject came into Walmart on Highway 82 West and took a desktop computer. He reported that the subject then fled the scene without paying. The man told police that he attempted to stop the offender as he was exiting the door. He reported that the offender got into the back of a white Chevrolet Z-71, which was last seen traveling west on Highway 82. The offender was described as being dressed in a dark-colored coat with a hood, which was over his head.

• A man reported Sunday that while in the 100 block of Robin Street, two black males approached his vehicle and one of the subjects pointed a black pistol at him in an attempt to rob him.

• A woman who lives on Self Street reported Friday that someone broke into her residence and stole her grandson’s Playstation 3 and television.

• A man who lives in the 400 block of Zion Hope Road reported Sunday that someone pried open the front door to his residence and took some items.

Eric McKenzie Albury, 22, 2405 Lee Ave., was charged Sunday with DUI, an open container violation and driving without insurance.

Dean Allen Baerwald, 48, 100 Edgewater Drive, was charged Sunday with speeding and disorderly conduct.

Eugene Billington, 55, 518 Alder St., was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct.

Jimmy Lee Boston, 42, 1203 Pineview Ave., was charged Friday with driving without insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Salvador Cardoza, 24, 1148 Windsor Drive, was charged Saturday with disorderly conduct.

Marquisten Edraun Jones, 22, 1301 Windsor Drive, was charged Friday with DUI, driving without insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Gary William Knight, 37, 207 Goff St., was charged Sunday with a safety restraint violation and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

April Anna Kocher, 21, 1813 O’Neal Ave., was charged Friday with simple battery (family violence).

Devin Micheal Parris, 18, 1813 O’Neal Ave., was charged Friday with disorderly conduct.

Artis Otis Poke, 47, 609 Martin Luther King Drive, Ashburn, was charged Friday with loitering or prowling, obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers without force and possession of cocaine.

Brandi Lannette Smith, 33, 601 Park Ave., was charged Saturday with theft by shoplifting.

Jose Luis Velasquez, 32, 1020 Ferry Lake Road, Lot 6, was charged Saturday with cruelty to children in the second degree.

Willie Lamont Edwards, 41, 2800 N. Tift Ave., Apt. E-33, was charged Saturday with failure to maintain lane, failure to obey traffic, making an improper left turn and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

Jomorris Anthony Scott, 28, 61 Retreat Crossing, Dallas, was charged Friday with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Sherrod Lavell Woods, 20, 1521 Brookvale Drive, was charged Friday with possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute.
