TIFTON —
The 22nd Annual Run for Love was recently held at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The event featured a one-mile run/walk and a 5K race. While there were some great performances, the highlight of the evening was that the founder of the event, Ernest Lang, got to compete in the run for the first time.
Proceeds from the Run for Love benefit the Tift County High School cross country team and help defray travel expenses incurred during the season.
"We are so grateful to the many, many people who turned out to volunteer, compete, and support our program," said Tift County Head Coach Laurie Mullen. "A special thanks to Ernest Lang and David Vann for their support and assistance in making this event a success"
