Fitzgerald stomps Berrien, 49-0

The winds of the Fitzgerald Hurricane blew hard Friday night, rolling over the Berrien High Rebels, 49-0.

Fitzgerald’s Jarrell Paschal scored first on a 3-yard touchdown run. The point after was good, breaking the zero mark, 7-0.

With 4:30 left in the first, Hurricane runner Dion Ross scored a touchdown from 4-yards out. The PAT was good, making it 14-0.

With just under 10 seconds left in the first, Pascal ran for a 6-yard touchdown. A successful extra point made it 21-0.

With 3:13 left in the 2nd, Larry King found the endzone from 1-yard out to make it 28-0. Corey Taylor punched in a 1-yard touchdown making the score 35-0 at the half.

Fitzgerald scored again on pass from quarterback Brad Taylor to Trenton Pruitt on a 7-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Fitzgerald closed the door with 11:05 on a 4-yard run from Latravius Stuart.

Fitzgerald will host Early County next week.
