TOOMBS COUNTY —
Kimberly Dawn Futch and Christopher Donzell Johns were united in marriage at a 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony June 18, 2010 at the Toombs County Courthouse. Deborah A. Sanders performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Eugene Talmadge Williams and Barabara Jean Williams of Millen. The groom is the son of the late Kenneth Donzell Johns and Doris Ann Johns of Tifton.
The bride wore a short, champagne-colored wedding dress and carried a bouquet of purple flowers with white roses at the center.
THE RECEPTION
A reception was given by the groom’s mother, Doris Johns, at her home in Tifton.
Jan Kitchens presided over the cake and punch tables. The bride’s cake was a white cake with a yellow center. The groom’s cake was white in color with a chocolate center. Others assisting in the reception included Lacey Culpepper, Suzy Walters, Lynn Hampton and Rosemary Tucker.
The couple will reside in Shreveport, La., where the groom is an equipment operator and the bride is a homemaker.
