Man charged with stabbing

TIFTON — A man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly stabbed another man multiple times.

According to an incident report filed at the Tift County Sheriff’s Office, at approximately 12:58 a.m. Sunday, a man who lives on Doe Lane reported that two of his sister’s employees were invited to his house to eat supper.

He told police that they became drunk and started fighting, and one of the Asian males grabbed a knife and stabbed the other Asian male multiple times.

The report states that the offender was arrested at the scene and transferred to the Tift County Jail. Luong Toan, 26, 4 Doe Lane, was charged with aggravated assault.

In another matter, a woman reported Sunday that a black male pointed a pistol at her while at a residence on 21st Street and stated that he would shoot her.

Also, a man reported Sunday that when he went to check on his store located on South Main Street, he discovered that someone had broken inside and had taken an unknown amount of items.

A man who lives in the 3200 block of Highway 41 North reported Saturday that five or six white males jumped on him and beat him up in his yard. He told police that the subjects jumped on him after he asked them to leave.
