Bessie Paulk Harper, 94, of Irwin County died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at Osceola Health Care in Ocilla. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by Paulk Funeral Home.
Perry Griffin, 90, of Sparks died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Funeral Home with the Rev. Ike Jefferson and Bro. Don Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Church Cemetery. Mr. Griffin is survived by his wife, Lois Griffin of Sparks; three sons, Steve Griffin of Barneyville, Earcle Griffin of Sparks and Calvin Griffin of Adel; and a daughter, Pattie Sue Parker of Summerfield, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Boone Funeral Home, located at 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. Boone Funeral Home is serving the Griffin family.
Sarah McKay, 79, of Lenox died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Melton Funeral Home. Mrs. McKay is survived by her husband, George McKay of Lenox. The remains are entrusted to the care and custody of Melton Funeral Home.
