TIFTON —
Visitors can purchase a pumpkin or get lost in a corn field beginning Oct. 2 when the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College displays hundreds of pumpkins in the Pumpkin Patch and cuts trails through a nearby field of corn for a Corn Maze.
Both areas will be open to the general public each Saturday during the month as a part of the regular admission price. Train rides will also be a part of the Saturday activities.
During the week, both the maze and the pumpkin patch will be available for class field trips for school children. The cost is $5 per student and will feature a trip through the barn- shaped corn maze full of Georgia crop trivia and learning stations, a stroll through the pumpkin patch, and a train ride around the Museum. To schedule a field trip, interested teachers and parents can contact Tonia Carpenter at (229) 391-5205.
The pumpkin patch and corn maze will be open to the public every Saturday in October from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Country Store near the entrance to the Museum.
