John N. Coker, 72, of Sycamore, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery. Survivors include his son, Chris Coker of Savannah; brother, Bobby S. Coker of Sycamore and a sister, Laura C. Wiggins of Warner Robins. McKinley Giddens, 83, of Ty Ty, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at Crisp Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Fields and Terry's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1-7 p.m. Sunday at Fields and Terry's Funeral Home, Sylvester. Fields and Terry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
